Started sowing this years Cactus seeds. Got quite a few from the Cactus Society, but also some packets of mixed seed and a few seed pods of Echinocactus grusonii from a friend.

Gave the small Opuntia bed it's second watering of the year along with a feed. New buds are forming on several of the plants.

Did a timelapse of the Austrocylindropuntia vestitas today, they've not woken up from their winter sleep yet.

I've made a 2 part video, dealing with Cactus Club membership and it's benefits. Also a selection of plants that I've won in the club raffle in the past few years.

First Cactus flower of the year, Mammillaria carmenae. These will be available for sale later in the year.

Just when you think you've finished seed sowing, a Mammillaria bocasana decides to produce a seed pod.

First flowers of this year on this Mammillaria vetula ssp. gracilis. This is a carefully tended plant that is 5 years old. Left untended they develop masses of pups and very few flowers.

Rebutia fabrisii has just started to flower. I'm finding this one difficult to cultivate, it starts off ok but then gets die back.
